Thoughtful Proclaimer Ministries offers both graded college level courses on Bible interpretation and preaching along with week-long seminars for lay pastors or Bible teachers. The college level Bible Interpretation and Preaching courses are offered on a weekly basis via Zoom during the school year. They are graded rigorous courses that require at least 4 hours or more a week of class and study. Please inquire if you would like to join the next cohort.
The week-long seminars are based on the dynamic Thoughtful Proclaimer method. These events can be customized to fit you and your ministry leaders. Thoughtful Proclaimer seminars are for ministry leaders, lay preachers, Bible study teachers, church elders, busy pastors, missionaries, Sunday school teachers, and anyone who wants to learn how to study the Word of God in depth and then to proclaim it in accurate, transformational, redemptive Bible messages; messages based on God’s intention for each passage in His Word. These courses are not graded but require a full commitment for the week including day and evening work along with a final sermon and evaluation.
Thoughtful Proclaimer Bible seminars walk you step-by-step through interpreting, applying, and proclaiming God’s Word. The seminars are accessible not only to experienced Bible proclaimers, but have also proven helpful to those with little experience or no preaching or teaching experience.
The seminars teach a spiritually enriching and yet Biblically sound way of discovering the primary purpose of a passage. The seminar then goes on to show you how to take that primary purpose and build it into an organized and transformational message which is suited to your particular audience.
The method is called “thoughtful” because it explicitly focuses on Scripture transforming the Proclaimer while the Proclaimer prepares redemptive messages for both seekers and spiritually mature audiences.
