Thoughtful Proclaimer is an interdenominational, evangelical ministry for the equipping of the saints, particularly those called to proclaim God’s Word in various settings.
We believe in salvation by faith alone. We believe that the Bible, both the Old and the New Testament, is God’s written word to us. We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to call, gift, and enliven the words of proclaimers and the hearts of their listeners as they proclaim the Word of God.
To this end, we believe it is the duty of the Church to train and equip those who God calls and who the Spirit gifts, in order that they can preach and teach Scripture accurately and well.
The main seminar teacher is Elizabeth Wright Anderson, author of Thoughtful Proclaimer: A Bottom-up Guide to Preparing Bible Messages that Transform You From the Inside Out. She holds a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York and is a candidate for a Doctor of ministry in Preaching the Literary Forms of the Bible from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts.
